Everton/Chelsea under 2.5 -120
Each team has done their share of scoring recently. However that was done against poor defensive teams. Everton and Chelsea are both vying for the league lead and will be playing conservatively. Chelsea has only allowed 3 goals in 10 matches this year while Everton has only given up 3 goals in 5 road matches.

Liverpool -1 -102 over Birmingham
It's taken me quite awhile to get up the nerve to bet on Liverpool after they were on-again/off-again earlier in the season. What I didn't realize then is that they are a homer team. Liverpool has won all 4 matches at home, scoring 10 goals while giving up only 1. Liverpool will be inspired to win this weekend after tying last-place Blackburn last week. They need a good showing to climb up to the top tier in the tables.

Charlton/Tottenham under 2 and 2.5 -117
Tottenham has scored only 6 goals in 10 games and has fallen on hard times lately after a promising start. The total in their matches has gone over 2 only once this season. Charlton has not scored more than 1 goal in their last 8 matches.

Man City/Man Utd. under 2.5 and 3 -133
In the battle of the Mans we have 2 teams that don't score all that much. In 5 home matches Utd. has scored 7 goals while City has scored 6 goals in 5 road matches. The only reason I can see as to why this is so high is because City had a 4-3 loss against Newcastle a couple weeks ago. However, Newcastle is the league's 2nd highest scoring team.

nice plays Quantum,
Liverpool definitely looks like a different side when they're at Anfield. I only liked a couple for the weekend:
1) Middlesbrough (even)vs. Bolton- hopefully they keep up the good form they showed vs. Lazio yesterday.
2) Norwich/Blackburn ov 2.5 (+105)- both sides have had troubles defensively & Norwich seems to score a few goals when playing at home.

Hang on for a wild ride!

I never know when to play the over on those teams with no defense. I always wonder if they'll be able to score. Good luck though.

Tottenham's coach just resigned for personal reasons after just 5 months. I've seen some teams become energized as a result of having a new coach. Other teams can't quite get in the swing of things. I'm hoping the Spurs (Tottenham) will just play out the game to a 0-0 tie.

In-game betting has Chelsea up 1-0 at the 85th minute. I'm taking the under 1 and 1.5 -125 at bet365.com for 1 unit.

Saturday's results:
Chelsea 1, Everton 0 (1 1/2 wins)

Birmingham 1, Liverpool 0 (1 loss)
First loss for Liverpool at home. That will teach me to bet on them.

Charlton 3, Tottenham 2 (1 loss)
Tough loss here. Tottenham's coach resignation surely affected the outcome.

Net for the day: 1 1/2 wins, 2 losses -0.77 units
